Tiger Number 1 was bold,
all muscle, claws, fast.
Tiger 2 just loved to sit,
Watching the shadows of the night.
Tiger 3 was sly and sleek,
didn’t speak…just showed up and enjoyed the moment.
Tiger 4 would charm your fears,
then vanish worries in your mind.
But Tiger Number 5? Oh no—
he smiled real slow, he moved real low.
He wore the dark look…
and dined on thoughts you never said.
He didn’t roar, he didn’t run,
…he knew he wasn’t the last one.
A flick of tail, a glint of eye,
he waited till his time would be up…
He held all the truth and the good words.
The others after him would rule with teeth and might… not him.
Tiger Number 5 walked past…his time was up
…number Six had arrived.
don’t look behind, don’t resist the dive…
Just whisper low: “Bye-bye Tiger Five.”

Fantastic, Mimi!

Thank you always Tim. I really enjoyed writing this one. It was a spur of the moment idea
