I saw you, screen after screen…it seemed like you could take any chance to be 17 Again.
For some time it seemed all you wanted was your Friends.
Sometimes it seemed like you wanted to fly…like the Birds of America.
And yet sometimes you looked like you were Numb.
You never got hitched. I wonder if maybe you thought that only Fools Rush In or maybe you didn’t want to be The Odd Couple.
I thought the fight was over with The End of Longing…
But seems you have gone The Whole Nine Yards or maybe even Ten.
Only recently you were at The Reunion, I’m glad you stayed to be a part of it.
Wherever you are, just know that to me, you will always be Mr Sunshine

well done. I recently read his biography and he had a rough life, with drugs as his demons, almost died many times before. hopefully he’s found peace at last.
