A couple of days ago Martha told me she had car issues and needed a ride to take the boys to school.
Their school was enroute my son’s school.
We hit the road, talking and laughing with the kids.
As soon as we dropped them off and headed for SonTer’s school, we began talking about the boys.
We focused on Darren.
SonTer observed that he was quite moody…just like the other morning.
I had observed that too. Darren was a real chatter box and very friendly in the afternoon and evening.
He definitely was not a morning person.
Just like me.
…but the older I’ve gotten, the more I’ve tried to adapt to living in the mornings.
I wonder how people do it effortlessly… I guess they were just born that way…unlike some of us.
Somethings that help me brighten my morning:
- Coffee
- Music
Are you a morning person?

I’ve always been a morning person – now it is much earlier. Jackie was once a night person – that is also much earlier now.

I guess our hours change as we get older? 🤔

I am an early morning person and have been this way for a while, it’s my best time of day. my teaching partner is the opposite, so I try to give her space at school in the morning. ) they say we are all either larks or owls, and come by it quite naturally.

I’ve always wondered how morning people do it 😊.
Giving your teaching partner space is so considerate.
Either Larks or owls… True

I think I was born a lark, and I like the quiet of early morning, just for me, before the world awakens for the day and then I hit the ground running, and slow down as the day continues

I’ve read these words from you before- “quiet of the early morning, before the world awakens”.
Sounds amazing.
Maybe I should try it some time 😁
