We are all different.
We react/respond differently to different situations
Take this simple example;
When our house gets too cold, my husband turns off the air conditioners or he adjusts the temperature till it’s warmer.
… But what does Mimi do? I pull out the big blankets, the sweaters and socks. The colder it gets, the harder I keep trying to adapt.
Why do I take that approach? I have been wondering about that.
Some people are wired to pull through and endure… Others will just cut off the source of the problem so that they don’t get stressed out or burned out by it.
Endurance can be stressful and unnecessary but sometimes it can be very rewarding.
So how do I know when to endure and when to turn off the source.

How can we know? ❤️❤️✌️

Such a good thought and question! I do the same with the AC in the house, but my reasoning is because I am so cold natured that I don’t touch the thermostat unless everyone else is out of town. Lol. … on matters if the heart, the equation to endure or cut the source can be so much more unclear. I have found these three processes help me to know when to do what, and I don’t always get it right, but it certainly has helped me to get it right more often:
1. Determine what Scripture has to say about what I’m feeling or going through. 2. Determine if it’s me, the devil or God creating the stress within me (sometimes, God has brought a test for me to learn something. Sometimes, the devil is on a full-on assault. And sometimes, I’ve just made a dumb decision/choice!) 3. Which #2 will always take me back to Scripture, but I also receive counsel from some really great spiritual leaders in my life to help me to know whether to endure or turn away, too. … maybe these things will help someone else as well.

Thank you so much. Will share this with my sister. We were pondering together after I shared the post with her.
