Perception

No matter what you do, people will not remove the version of you they already know from their heads.

Try as you may.

If they think you are this, and you are no longer this… even when you become that, no matter what you do or what you say, they will still hold on to the version of you they knew.

Sometimes, people don’t see who you have become.

They see who they remember you to be.
