The Door You Never Knocked On.

Logan is Rory’s boyfriend.

Lorelei is Rory’s mother. They are as close as twins.

He knows Lorelei and Rory and very close.

Throughout the duration of their relationship, he never makes any effort to be nice or familiar with Lorelei. Not once.

But he goes to Lorelei when he upsets Rory and they are broken up.

Why should she help him or even listen to him?

I wonder…even Lorelei wonders if she should.

She doesn’t.

Lorelai focuses on supporting Rory emotionally rather than stepping in to help Logan or try to smooth things over on his behalf.

Why would he even think she would speak for him? I keep wondering about this.

Well, for whatever reason he went to her, I think just one phrase will sum up what I feel; Too little, too late.
